Being immersed in God’s creation is how Robin Dequaine renews mind, body, and soul. This immersion in nature is reflected in her watercolor painting and the feeling that she wants the viewer to experience when looking at her art. Her paintings are inspired by local scenery and the photographs she has taken while hiking in Northern WI and the Upper Peninsula of MI or sailing the Bay of Green Bay and Lake Michigan.

Robin started exploring watercolor in 2021 as a distraction from emotional stressors by loved ones with substance abuse and mental health issues. This outlet blossomed into a more balanced life and a passion to create.

Robin resides in Marinette, Wisconsin with her husband Bob. Sailing, hiking, trout fishing, yoga, gardening, mushroom hunting, and sourdough breadmaking are just some of the hobbies Robin enjoys.
