I’ve always had an affinity for glass and tile. I love the way the sun shines through glass and brings a piece to life, and the reflection of a piece of textured tile that draws your eye in. Whether working in Glass Applique, Glass on Glass, or putting together a sculptural piece, I find joy in taking bits of broken glass, tile and crockery and making it into something beautiful. I draw my inspiration from all that is around me. I see mosaics everywhere, in nature, in the faces in a crowd, in the pebbles on the road and in the color, shape and form that surrounds us.

Life is a wonderful mosaic of people, places, and things. Even broken things pieced back together can be redeemed and recreated into something “Broken but Beautiful.”
