First Street Art Gallery & More is a juried cooperative gallery representing artists from Northern Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We seek artists whose work demonstrates strong craftsmanship, originality, and professional presentation.
Applicants must be permanent or part-time residents of Northern Wisconsin or the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
Applications are evaluated based on:
- Artistic quality and workmanship
- Originality and professional presentation
- Fit within the gallery’s existing body of work
- Current representation of media within the gallery
- Available exhibition space
- Ability to maintain adequate inventory
- Market suitability for the gallery audience
We value artists who are committed to their creative growth, work well with others, and contribute positively to the gallery community.

Upon acceptance, the $20 Jury Fee will be applied toward member dues when applicable. Otherwise, the fee is nonrefundable.
Artist Categories
Membership Artists
Membership artists are part of the cooperative, pay dues, and participate in the ongoing operation and growth of the gallery. Commission rates and annual dues for membership categories are determined annually.
· Working Membership
Artists who pay annual dues and fulfill gallery clerking responsibilities – only through approval, subject to change.
· Non-Working Membership
Artists who pay annual dues but do not participate in clerking or operational responsibilities.
Consignment Artists
Consignment artists are represented by the gallery but are not members of the cooperative. Consignment artists do not pay dues, vote on gallery matters, or participate in operational responsibilities.
